Eco balls are Grrrrrrreat!
I’ve been using eco balls for around 6 months now and although you do miss that “manufactured smell of lavender” my clothes are clean and i’m not spending £5 on washing up tabs every 2 months which is a saving of… hang on £30 a year, which i can spend else where.
The cheapest i could find, which is what i paid for them in Brighton are from:
Lakeland Plastics at £13.73 inc P&P
Heres what they say:
- this starter pack gives up to 150 washes â?? thatâ??s less than 7p per wash
- the scientific formula reaches deep into textile fibres, lifting away dirt without fading colours or damaging delicates, and leaving no residue
- Ecoballs soften clothes even in hard water, so no conditioner is necessary and you can skip the rinse cycle, saving money and water
- ideal for sensitive skin and baby clothes, they are biodegradable, hypoallergenic and free from toxic chemicals.
You can also buy Eco balls that are good for 1000 washes from nigels eco store for £33.93 in P&P
Happy cleaning, i’m off to make a nice cup of hot soya chocolate and listen to my ipod in bed
Nite..

Hey!. This is all about taste. I completely agree with you regarding \”u got the Eco balls in your wash? |\”, but I think you are in the thin line of thinling. Don\’t you? Maybe you can try chocolate gifts uk
Anaely Acevedo… on your recommendation i tryed the chocolates in my washing machine, but i’m afraid the chocolate got all over my clothes. I think i’ll stick to the eco balls, but thanks for the tip
I am happy to report that my first ever wash with my eco balls and the magno ball produced perfectly clean clothes.
I did add fabric softener to it, I confess, because I like the smell.
Iâ??m sure Iâ??ll wean myself off this habit eventually.

I have been trialing the ecoballs for a while now, comparing it to Ecover my usual wash. I am impressed how well they worked even on my teenage sons oily college overalls. They got dried blood out better than my usual wash too. Anything that efficiently cleans smelly teenage boy clothes has to be good. I am really surprised and keep looking for the faery folk in the washer. My only points to note are it is wierd not to have a fragrance at first but that said the clothes have a fresh natural clean smell after washing anyway, and the washer needs the occasional hot wash on empty with white vinegar to stop it getting smelly as opposed to when you use traditional wash powders (this happens with Ecover too though).
