Is Dog Food Really Filled With Euthanized Companion Animals Like Cats and Dogs?
What really is in that can of dog food? You know it??s some kind of meat. It looks like meat. Smells kind of almost meaty. But what kind of meat is it?
How about the kibble? What is in a cup of those cute little shaped dry food? It??s mystery meat, otherwise known as ??meat meal.?
The next time you buy your dog some food ?? be it dry or canned ?? read the ingredients. You??ll find ??meat meal? in there. What is it?
whats in your dogs food
If you have a weak stomach and tend to get nauseated easily from reading about really gross things, stop reading now. If you??re masochistically curious like me, read on. Don??t say I didn??t warn you though.
Meat meal is a major ingredient in dry dog (and cat) food. It contains (among other things): urine, feces, body parts normally not eaten like hair, intestines, and bones. Should I keep going? Meat meal also has spoiled meat from the supermarket (packaging included), road kill, diseased animals?the list goes on and on and on. I can??t anymore ?? I??m going to get sick.
Now you and I know that the companies who make pet food are not going to admit that they put dog and cat meat in dog and cat food ?? essentially turning our pets into cannibals. They would never own up to it because that would be bad for business. But the evidence is just too hard for them to hide all the time.
John Eckhouse quoted an employee of the SacramentoRendering plant (where pet food comes from) ??Thousands and thousands of pounds of dogs and cats are picked up and brought here every day.?
When your pet dies at the vet, the vet sends the body to the rendering plant. And yes, they are legally allowed to do this. Disgusting, but true.
Photos and observations from the coolest vegan festival in the UK
I heard about the Vegan Fayre from Ali and thought that it would be something that Minkbaby should pop along to, so i popped. Well i popped, after going to the Brighton Dome finding out the Vegan fest wasnt there and then arriving at the Brighton Centre to find a half naked guy attempting to swallow a pretty big sword. Sorry i didnt take a photo of it, but heres an empty entrance hall and a shiney floor.
The main hall was up stairs and bustling with stalls catering to all kinds of colourful veggies and vegans. They were walking around talking and bustling, ??I mentioned the bustling right?? Buy mostly they were looking for Vegan cheese, an obsession I too have felt drawn too. So off I set across to the far end of the grand hall where a number of people were mingling.
So, I found it an entire corner of the room devoted to cheese or rather sheese, the alternative to Dairy and the only thing in the room disappearing at 100 mph, one tiny toothpick at a time. Ok, so.. you ask ??What??s its like this cheese alternative??? and I am going to be honest with you, the few little morsels I had at the stab and grab stall I enjoyed. But and that??s a big but, my further purchase of smoked Sheese from my local Deli left me a little cold and I am still missing my old cheese buddy. But i have faith and i am sure i will find it soon.
The Viva stand had me grabbing for as much animal welfare leafletage as i could possibly contain in two hands. Viva’s adverts have impact because of their honesty, a calf sitting on a plate, a man in a business suit suckling from a Dairy cow and the sweet face of a piglet looking out from the glossy leaflet - all making a pretty poignant point individually and all begging the question ??why?? not a soft cuddly ??aw we shouldn??t eat them, they are cute.. where??s my beef burger? but a ??Whow, is it really right that they should suffer so much for addiction? kind of question. I had a lovely chat to Caroline from ‘Good Oil’ and will be covering the company in more detail in a future post
Alan knight from international animal rescue is a great guy and they do some fantastic work, the fact that they a few bears off putting an end to the dancing bear trade in India was inspiring. You can read about it and help them on their website IAR
Infinity foods really didnt want to have their picture taken, but i took it anyway. Infinity are the ‘vegan nuts’ they have all you would ever need as a vegan and never leave you wanting more. You can check them out on infinity foods
Being a big fan of Keith Mann a former ALF organiser, this stand was very interesting. I bought the book “Dusk til dawn’ with a picture of Britches the tiny monkey part of the famous ALF rescue and will be reviewing it in a later post. The kid and his mum were lovely and very informed about Keith and his work. You can read more about him here the think bookshop .asp
Caroline was a little hung over but still very professional, she makes all her own vegan chocolate eggs and i couldnt resist buying one for my flat mate for Easter. I’ll be reviewing the egg, once consumed in a later post the chocolate alchemist
This charity is wonderful, they rescue and care for monkeys that are kept as pets in the UK, something that i couldnt belive was still happening here. I am going to pop down to visit them in the next couple of months monkey sanctuary
If you have read any of the other posts you will know that i wasnt too happy about the sentance dealt out to the SHAC members recently. I did ask how they are and the girl on the stand said that they are all doing well, but are all still in prison. I know alot of people find the methods that SHAC use distasteful but i have to say that the methods Huntingdon use are far more disgusting and disturbing. Go to the SHAC website to read about it.
Big shout out to conscious chocolate they are by far the most amasing vegan chocolate company. I took a few bars of the essentia organge oil and mint oil into work and my omnivorous workmates fell over themselves to munch down.
I also met the fantastic Karin Ridgers who runs ‘Mad Promotions’ and ‘Veggie Vision’, i had a great chat with Karin who was busy protecting a plate full of vegan cake and will be writing an article on ‘Veggie Vision‘.
I was very impressed with the Eco Garage, they sell electric cars and i for one think that the funky little orange numbers looked fab. Charging your phone and your car overnight seams like a good idea to me. I’ll go into more depth in a future post but for now click on the image to go through to the website.
I left the festival feeling inspired, the people there were active interesting individuals that spent their time doing and not procrastinating. It was a good feeling being one of them
Jamie serves up screaming piglets, slitting pigs throats and more screaming piglets
I’m angry, didn??t think I??d be this angry, but I am and it’s late and it’s bloody Jamie Oliver??s fault. Ok, so love him or hate him Jamie is always thinking up new crusades to get involved in and I actually think mostly “ok.. that??s cool, kids need to eat healthy food instead of crisps and coke”… BUT… saving British Bacon by making a live FREAK SHOW out of poor animals that get a horribly raw deal in the food chain as it is, was …. well just plain wrong.
I sat through the entire “Jamie save out Bacon” program open mouthed, not because I haven??t seen the horror of what goes on in E.U and UK pig farms, but that the whole thing was nicely packaged like a frigging Marks and Spencer advert. “Its not a tiny screaming piglet being mutilated on live TV .. It??s a Jamie Oliver screaming piglet being mutilated on live TV.
Jamie oliver and piglet
Ok… so a lot of the British public don??t give a monkeys armpit about where their bacon sandwich comes from so long as its got red sauce and is cheap.. and glamorising of the so called ‘ethical British Pork industry by this program’ means they will never have to ask… because Jamie says if you buy British you buy happy healthy pigs. Pigs that skip and leap and play in the straw in their indoor stalls with the memory of being reared outside like a perfect childhood. The farmers all know their names like curly tail and Mr piggy wiggs and they all go running up to him grunting happily as he feeds them their lovely scrummy food to make them nice and fat and warm.
Lets look at what a spokesperson for the Jamie has to say about the “Jamie??s saves out Bacon “program. “He is very supportive of British farmers. There is no sense of this being an exposé. He is not wagging his finger at all but saying ‘I am giving you this information so you can make your own decisions.’”
Piglets from Pennywell farm
So… because Jamie loves piggies so much and wants to support the good old British pig farmer, the British public are taken on, what Jamie calls the cycle from the piglet to the plate, nice little ring to it, nice one Jamie. We see boars being masturbated that gave everyone a giggle, sows giving birth, piglets having their testicals cut out of their bodies while they struggled and screamed, a tiny piglet have its tail sheared off as it screamed and a pig stunned and hung up kicking as its throat was cut open and the blood drained from it into a bucket.
Why did Jamie do this?, well Jamie is upset that the E.U are still allowed to use sow stalls and British pig farmers aren??t, because sow stalls are ‘productive’. I really don??t know what Jamie was trying to do with this program, the last one saw him gassing tiny male chicks to death and butchering a live chicken.
Pig hung up still awake
I would like to point out that the idea of having a live animal made into meat for public entertainment, isn??t teaching the public about welfare, it is in fact making the public believe that welfare for farm animals exists, because lets face it “if its on TV its ok right?”. So they go away thinking that if they spend a few pence extra on their bacon, chicken or lamb then all is well. The fact is, the killing in the studio slaughterhouse isn??t how animals are killed on a production line, stunning doesn??t stop animals from feeling pain (or else why do they give people in comas aesthetic when applying any kind of electric current to their brain?).
Its all about … it being ok to eat meat .. because its free range, we tickle the cows ears or give the pig a ball to play with… why do we ignore the fact that these animals eat grain that could feed starving people in Africa, the transportation of these animals to slaughter houses in lorries makes up a huge proportion of green house gasses, the methane produced by cattle is so immense that some Aussie farms have to literally pay a ‘fart tax’ and why are we eating creatures that are intelligent in the first place?
Why… the end of Jamie??s program that??s why.. because after all the horror, after the girls have sobbed over the piglets tail and the boys felt sick to their stomachs over the castration.. after seeing gallons of blood pumping out of a kicking animal that seconds before had the ability to think more proactively than a small child.. the animal that some (not all) people felt compassion for is nothing more than MEAT and we have to kill it.. because we are addiction to meat.
pork cutlet
I’m off to bed now, I won’t go on about why we feed stuff that is full of good things our body needs to create something that we can’t even digest.
I’ll leave you with on last quote by someone far more deserving than me .. Mahatma Gandhi
??The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated?
How great to that end.. are we?
PS: Thanks to one of our readers Sarah, for giving me the fuel i needed to battle sleep and finish this post..
After last nights superb ‘Chickens, Hugh and Tesco too’ where the Celebrity owner of River Cottage, Hugh Fearnley- Whittingstall rallied support from Tesco shareholders to try and change the supermarkets ‘dark ages’ approach to ’standard chicken production’.
As part of the ‘Food fight series’, this Thursday sees celebrity chefJamie Oliver do the same for the pig. Jamie is calling for UK consumers to boycott EUpork until they change their use of sow stalls. Sow stalls are vile contraptions that contain a female pig for around 16 weeks at a time, usually during pregnancies and during most of the piglets feeding. The stalls are so small that sows are unable to turn around, clean them selves and infact all they can do is lie down. Pigs aren’t the ‘dumb animals’ that we ‘the consumer’ are led to believe, they are extreamly intelligent animals that can solving complex puzzles.
In tests it has been shown that piglets can recognise themselves in mirrors, pigs can play video games better than chimpanzees and they show a level of not simply following commands but considering those commands and being creative with their thinking, showing an awareness of themselves.
Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver
The EU is not taking any action on removal of sow stalls until 2013, which Jamie considers is putting our UK pig farmers on an unfair playing feild and could mean that UK pork is soon off the menu forever.
The UK pig farming industry still have a long way to go before they meet the concerns of people like myself, when tail docking, tooth clipping and castration are all done on young pigs without anaestic in the UK and most pigs are still keep in doors, even though the labelling on the pork says “outdoor rearered’, and they arent given any kind of activities to stop them from becoming clinically depressed.
Sows trying to sleep in tiny sow stalls
I only hope that Jamie’s highlighting of the cruelty to pigs rasies an awareness to the plight of pigs and maybe make UK consumers think twice before buying EU pork in the future and consider the welfare of our own British pig.
When you see a pack of sausages next or grab a hotdog from the cinema, remember that that was in fact ta pig, a creature more intelligent than your dog and with their own personalities and foibles. (like Cinders, shown below who hates mud).
Hollywood badboy Mickey Rourke is appearing in adverts for ABC (animal birth control) campaign for PETA. Mickey and his two chihuahuas Jaws and Loki both appear in an advert for ABC where Mickey talks about when he first met Jaws and his anger at those who dont look after their dogs.
Mickey Rourke and chihuahua Jaws
Mickey says “The whole point of having a dog, is keeping the dog its whole natural life. Its not like saying, oh i met this girl and shes allergic to is… no man. Get rid of the girl, not the dog”
Mickey bought his beloved chihuahua Jaws from a breeder who had all of her dogs locked up in her house and Jaws was suffering from sever mental problems, it took Mickey six months to get Jaws to trust him and stop biting, but he did it and now they have a wonderful relationship.
The campaigns slogan is “When dogs get knocked up, puppies get” is really hard hitting and hopefully with Mickey’s support, it will send the message out to people, to buy rescue dogs and get their own dogs spayed and neutered.
We eat fish because it makes us clever, we eat fish because we like the taste and we eat fish due to its healthy properties. Only one of the above is true - guess which one.
Sorry, I??ve been absent for a week, I??ve been working on a few things.. doing a bit of this and that, catching up at work and generally worrying about the state of the planet, animal and fish welfare and where to get good vegan cheese (I??ll find it)
So, I’ve just finished hoovering out my fish tank, yep that??s ‘hoovering’ and all my tropical fish are playing around my hand, fish nibbling at me, some little ones spitting water at me and a couple of pencil fish watching me from underneath the big rocks with a look that says ??whats the food goddess doing in here?. And I thought, yes, its time for my ‘why eat fish’ post., I??ve been planning it in my head for a while, I??ve got a video, lets do it.
Donald in reeds, Daphanie comes into feed
Fish flesh was the last meat I gave up when I was a vegetarian. Why? because I didn??t understand fish, in fact I knew nothing about fish really, the only connection I had with them was passing by the fish section in Waitrose or the seafood sellers down on Brighton beach. I knew that fish were alive but I suppose I never really thought about their consciousness, their actual intelligence I mean I had no reason to I guess, it??s all so part of everyday life ??the consumption of fish?? ?? fishing ?? cans of tuna ?? white bait at the local Tapas bar.
But when I bought my first goldfish ? things changed. Honestly, not over night but gradually. I started to notice little things, like the fish would swim up to the top when I was close to the tank, would trust me enough to nip at my fingers, would suffer from stress, build up relationships with other tank mates and actually look like they mourned when they died. My favourite was called Meemoo he was a tiny ??pearscale?? which looks a bit like a goldfish that has swallowed a marble. He would blow water bubbles at the surface to wake me up when he was hungry, stare at me when I was using my laptop for hours and swim away when I turned to look and showed a lot of affection for the others in the tank. I lost him sadly about 6 months ago when another fish developed white spot and it killed off all my fish. But, I had had him and his little fish mates for 1 year and in that time they had taught me a lot about fish and encouraged me to find out more.
My clown loach Donald and tank mates
My new tank is a lot bigger and houses around 43 tiny tetra varieties and 2 big clown loaches, it??s a hard job keeping them happy but it??s a pleasure to do so. I??ve spent along time observing these fish for signs of infection, bullying, stress and pregnancy and what I find so incredible is that it??s not all text book. They are all different, they play, some prefer to hide and keep to themselves, others carry food around like a trophy for an hour, while others eat it at once. Some sleep curled up together on the bottom while others float and some are just naturally happy where others seam predisposed to be ? well moody.
My fish peewee that died recently
I stopped eating fish after I discovered all of this and I couldn??t bare the idea that I was eating or rather I was part of the process that lead to a fish, just as playful and clever as my fishes death. The difference between fish and farm animals is that people deny that fish can feel pain, which is why the fishing industry??s get away with such horrific abuse. Fish don??t cry out in pain, due to the fact that they simply don??t communicate like that, they struggle and gasp but are seen almost like automatons.
The problem is that humans do not believe that fish feel pain and thus do not deserve the type of welfare that is at least partially enforced for animals with fur.
Green tetra, dannio and alpha guppie in reeds
I think anyone would agree that pain is a way of detecting injury and that this is something that would be invaluable to an animal that is preyed upon by other animals. Pain is also part of the learning process, if something burns we don??t touch it again, if something is really cold we might put gloves on.
??Animals respond to painful damage in a similar way. Their responses comprise several behavioural and physiological changes: they eat less food, their normal behaviour is disrupted, their social behaviour is suppressed and they may adopt unusual behaviour patterns (typically, highly repetitive or stereotyped behaviours, such as rocking to and fro), they may emit characteristic distress calls, and they experience respiratory and cardiovascular changes, as well as inflammation and release of stress hormones.?
In trails by scientists at Edinburgh University and the Roslin Institute the teams tested fish for pain receptors
??The team compared the behaviour of fish that had either bee venom or acetic acid injected into their lips with animals that had received harmless saline.
The fish given the nasty chemicals showed clear signs of physiological stress, the researchers found. They took 90 minutes longer to resume feeding and their rate of gill breathing was characteristic of a fish swimming at top speed.
More surprisingly, they displayed very unusual behaviours such as rocking from side to side. Sneddon believes this may be similar to repetitive behaviours sometimes seen in zoo animals. The fish treated with acid also rubbed their lips on the sides and bottom of the tank.?
??In vertebrates, nociceptive information is collated and augmented in the brain and signals are relayed down the nervous system to alter the intensity of pain. All vertebrates possess the primitive areas of the brain to process nociceptive information, namely the medulla, thalamus and limbic system.?
In humans the main area of pain recognition is the cortex which in fish is very small but still exists.
What this all comes down to is, human beings consider only animals that have self awareness are capable of experiencing pain, the issue is, this is a subject point of view made by only one animal group ??humans?. We can??t ask a fish if he or she is aware of its existence due to our limited understanding of their communication, so we have to work on how they respond to certain situations.
Fish, and this is something I??ve noticed in fish that I have owned and fish in the local aquarium, weigh up other fish before fighting meaning that they are aware of their size. It has also been shown that fish can remember up to 40 individuals, most fish will learn to recognise their owners and some even sulk when someone else feeds them, some fish play with balls and new evidence has found that the tiny blind cave fish can work build up a map of their new surroundings in only a few hours.
I of course will allow you to make your mind up on this subject as for the rest of the world other than vegans and vegetarians (and those that do not eat fish) the jury is out.
I interviewed the guys from my local tropical fish store about fish intelligence and what they feel about the environment and marine fishing.
I highly recommend the Peta sea kittens page and design your own sea kitten by clicking on my little creation Meemoo.
George, as he has come to be known by the staff of the ‘City Crab and Sea food’ in New York has been a hit with both staff and customers since his arrival two weeks ago. Restaurant manager Keith Valenti bought the 20lb lobster for $100 and it would have been lunch had he not become an instant sensation with the customers and attracted the attention of a local animal rights group.
City Crab and Seafood Newyork
“We bought a big lobster, started taking pictures with kids and it worked out real well” said Keith.
Apparently George is estimated to be around 140 years old, which is pretty normal for a lobster that has managed to avoid being captured. The good news is that George will be released soon off the coast of Maine in a protected area.
George, the 140 year old lobster
So hopefully this old man can live out his years in peace and quiet, and maybe tell his grandkids about his big New York adventure. Ok, he’s a lobster, but look at those eyes..
Peta’s on going fight against the fur trade moved to Yakami and is now on to Eugene . PETA spokesperson, Nicole Matthews “People have been driving by and giving us the thumbs up. We believe that people in Yakima are compassionate and will choose to go fur free and leave the animals out of their closet”.
Peta anti-fur demonstration
Minkbaby is totally apposed to the fur trade and were horrified by the recent comments of Karl Legerfeld
??Fur? Oh fur, you know, as long as we wear leather and eat meat I don??t even discuss that,? he told the BBC in an interview. ??Personally I don??t wear fur.?
Legerfeld then went on to reason that the hunters who produce fur ??make a living having learnt nothing else than hunting, killing those beasts who would kill us if they could,? but that the ??beasts? should be killed ??nicely? if possible. Um, right. For someone who for so long as been at the forefront of fashion, this guy has absolutely no clue about fur farms.
PETA branded Legerfeld a fashion dinosaur and considering his opinons on fur it does seam to be true, he is totally detacted from the reality of the situation and considering the recent actions of DONNA KAREN to drop the use of fur, he will soon be left out in the cold.
Huntingdon life science test on animals for the good of he nation… does it?
Beagle puppy in experment in huntingdon lab
A group of animal rights activists face up to 14 years in jail after being charged with conspiracy to blackmail over a period of 6 years. The members of the group SHAC stop huntingdon animal cruelty are charged with a terror campain on companies connected to huntingdon life sciences.
Huntingdon lfe sciences safety tests pharmaceuticals, crop protection chemicals, food and veterinary industries, with resources across three continents.
The crowning glory for HLS was to be the holy grail of the scientific comunity xenotransplantation programme, whereby animal parts could be transplanted into humans.
The Guardian published in 2002: In 1995 it told the world it would be ready to start transplanting pig hearts into humans within a year. Yet the documents clearly show that the company’s xenotransplantation programme has come nowhere near to fulfilling its promises.
The xenotransplantation programme was a total failure and was quite simply a money making machine with no payout but with a huge cost, that of some of the worst animal suffering ever recorded
monkey undergoing oral cavage at huntingdon
The papers reveal attempts to bury the true extent of animal suffering from experiments conducted at the HLS laboratories between 1994 and 2000. Serious incidents of unlicensed animals suffering were not adequately investigated and regulations were not enforced properly.
Breaches of the law even went unpunished in some cases, with the Home Office limiting itself to letters of ‘admonishment’. One previously confidential paper reveals how the Home Office worked with Imutran - the former British subsidiary of multi-million drug giant Novartis, which was in control of the programme - to underestimate the suffering caused by the most severe experiments.
The Newstatements headline of the time was: You think there should be a big public debate about transplanting animal organs into humans? Don’t be silly; profits are at stake
In 1997 undercover tapes were shown on channel 4 programme its dogs life showed employees of Huntingdon lfe sciences punching young dogs in the face and test animals so violently as to cause injuries.
The investigation led to the company’s Home Office licence being revoked in April 1997 for six months. At the time, the company’s shares stood at £1.13: within three years they were worth 2.5 pence. Huntingdon officials said that the breaches were isolated cases
You can read more about pig-to-primate transplants on the xenodiaries website the article about jack straw refused to investigate a research programme involving the horrific suffering and deaths of hundreds of higher primate makes for a good read.
Huntingdon now proudly brand their site with their award form the Achievement of Accreditation by the Association For Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care, AAALAC (aaalac.org) granted to them in May 2003. But i these awards can run dry as this letter to the Harvard Medical School by a member of the AAALAC to a Doctor Miller shows:
Dr. Miller,
I am contacting you today to request that you take severe and immediate action against two AAALAC accredited laboratories: Vanderbilt University and the Harvard Medical School. Both of these laboratories have a lengthy record of substantial and significant violations of the Animal Welfare Act (AWA) over a sustained period of time. Therefore, I hereby request that you immediately revoke the accreditation for these laboratories because it is clear that they do not adhere to AAALAC standards for animal care and scientific procedures. It is also patently clear that they do not follow federal laws.
it goes on to say
During July of 2004 a primate died due to strangulation when left unattended in a primate restraint chair. During 2006 a cat died due to unapproved anesthesia and a dog lost 20% of his/her body weight without being reported for veterinary care and one incident during 2006 centered around an unauthorized surgery in which the eyes of a bush baby were cut out.. Clearly this institution has no regard for the law, correct scientific procedures, or for the welfare of the animals used in experimentation. read full letter here.
But they are doing good right? we need animal research what about insulin, organ, corneal, and bone marrow transplants? it can’t all be about money?
Beagle puppies during an experiment
Biomedical research is a billion dollar industry. The majority of federal health care funds are channeled through the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Approximately 80% of the NIHNIH, at least 40 percent of its grants currently have an animal component. While these enormous sums of money are being consumed by animal experimentation, greater emphasis on other types of research could lead to huge improvements in the health of our nation. These include human clinical and epidemiological studies, prevention initiatives, public health programs, and in vitro research. budget goes to actual research projects. According to the
But we still need animals for testing on?
GEARI says: This assumption is absolutely untrue. Many alternatives exist to the use of live animals in research (vivisection). Here are some alternatives to animals currently used:
“Synthetic skin,” called Corrositex
Computer modeling
Improved statistical design
The Murine Local Lymph Node Assay (LLNA)
Providing proof for this truth is that one of the top educational institutions in the world - Johns Hopkins - has a center devoted entirely to developing and promoting alternatives to animal testing - The Johns Hopkins Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing. It also managers Altweb, an on-line resource to “…serve as a gateway to alternatives news, information, and resources on the Internet and beyond [regarding alternatives to animal testing].”
The EPAA is an unprecedented collaboration between the European Commission and major companies from seven industry sectors. The partners are committed to pooling knowledge, research and resources to accelerate the development, validation and acceptance of alternative approaches over an initial five-year period.
So basically, over the course of how ever many years we have been mutilating animals for sciece we have achieved around 6 successes, now if that was a business model that woudnt be a very good one would it?.
Now the actions of the SHAC group is presented in the news with everything but old hammer horror music, lets get to the facts here. They threatened some people with fake bombs, threating emails, email bombs to crash computers and santary towels and did some nasty things to peoples cars. They didnt kill anyone and quite franky i’ve had bosses do worse to me than that. of course harming people loosly involved with Huntingdon lfe sciences is wrong and damaging their property is wrong, but i think you can all understand the frusration that these people feel when the government are condoning something that they are absoutely apposed against and they they are well aware is mostly based in money and lies and at the root of that thousands and thousand of defensiless animals that really didnt asked to be used to funding excuses.
As i write this i am angry, i am angry that these peolpe were forces to go to such lengths that will end them up in prison for around 14 years, rapists get around 5-10 years and child abusers can get as little as 1-2 years in prison. That really does make me wonder if this is infact a hate campaign agaisnt those that upset the money markets, after all SHAC did affect alot of Huntingdon lfe sciences investments, making them walk away and the institution almost go into liquidation.
I don’t condone the victimsation of anyone who is helpless as this is not the way we should treat one another but i also do not condone the suffering of the helpless for the wealth of the few.
