Minkbaby are Offering Free Eco Products â?? Seriously?

The deal is that we will give you free eco products, without charging you anything – if you ask nicely and agree to abide by our lovely (not nasty) terms and conditions.

Warning:  They are a tad long so you might wanna grab a cuppa

What must I do to get my free eco-products?

For every eco-product we send you, you must first submit a review of an eco-product, eco-service or eco-event that you have used/attended.

Why does Minkbaby wish to exchange free eco-products etc. for eco-reviews?

• We are an eco resource.
• We want to become informed about environmental and ethical issues, and to help other people become more informed.
• As we become more informed, we aim to make more eco-friendly and ethical political and lifestyle choices as a result, one product, service or political act at a time. And we hope that other people will feel encouraged to do likewise.
• Reviews are a way of becoming informed about eco issues and the various eco solutions that are on offer, and they are a way of getting involved â?? of contributing.

Examples of Eco Products, Eco-Services or Eco Events that you might already have tried:

Products:

• Energy saving light bulbs or rechargeable batteries
• Wormeries or other composting technology
• EcoBalls or other eco laundry/cleaning products
• Eco Nappies â?? disposable or cloth
• Eco gadgets â?? solar mobile phone chargers etc.

Services:

• Your local recycling service â?? rate it
• A local cloth nappy service â?? how was it?
• Natural/holistic treatments such as aromatherapy, reflexology or homeopathy
• Hypnobirthing

Events

• Environmental/animal welfare protests for Greenpeace/Peta etc.
• Eco Festivals such as The Big Green Gathering
• Eco Educational projects such as Junk4Funk

What if I havenâ??t ever used an eco-friendly product, service or attended an eco-event?

If you havenâ??t already used an eco-friendly product, eco-service or attended an eco-event then you have a couple of options.

OPTION A

You can provide us with a pithy, punchy piece about why we should send you an eco product.

OPTION B

You can complete an eco questionnaire and send it back to us complete with a picture of yourself for publication on the site.

OPTION C

You can write a short blog post for us about an eco and/or ethical issue (local, national or international) that concerns and/or interests you.

Iâ??ve never written a review before â?? what do I need to say?

All we are looking for is your opinion. A fuller explanation of the kinds of things we feel other people would want to know will be sent to you when you register an interest in reviewing products for Minkbaby. If you have question after that you can email us, call us or send up smoke signals and weâ??ll help you through it. Itâ??s not so hard

What if I didnâ??t like the eco product/service/event that I am to review?

You donâ??t have to have like whatever you review. We donâ??t make any of them and we donâ??t sell any of them. We just want a reasonably detailed and honest account of your experience of whatever you are reviewing so that we can share it with others.

As well as helping others to become more informed and pro-active about eco and ethical issues, we hope that all the reviews on Minkbaby will also help people to identify eco products that:

• Perform well
• Represent value for money
• Are actually eco-friendly
• Are manufactured, shipped and packaged in an ethical and environmentally conscious fashion.
• And conversely we hope that reviews on Minkbaby will help people to identify eco products that:
• Perform badly
• Do not represent value for money
• Are in fact eco-unfriendly
• Are manufactured, shipped and packaged in an unethical and or environmentally irresponsible fashion.
